It's been awhile since I have really cooked. It's also been awhile since I have had a sufficient supply of groceries...
But after going to the store and stocking up I was able to make my version of Meatballs with Peppers and Pineapple.
I made gluten free meatballs for the first time. I was a little scared since my last attempt at gluten free cooking resulted in a very dark buckwheat pizza crust that only tasted good when there were enough toppings to mask the flavor (I also think this was a terrible introduction of my food allergies to my friends in attendance).
But back to the meat...I substituted potato flakes for the bread crumbs. I added red peppers instead green, mainly because I didn't want to pay two dollars for a small green pepper. And instead of making my own sauce I just threw some teriyaki and soy sauce on it. It was very delicious! Try it!
first of all, you didn't credit that i shared that recipe for you (i.e. shared a link of my blog) AND second, you HAVE to make the sweet and sour sauce with it tara, it will change the whole dynamic of the dish. incredible.
